The Loungefly Princess Castle Series Belle Crossbody and Wallet is Stunning
My newest Loungefly pieces to join my Disney purse/bag collection are the Loungefly Princess Castle Series Belle Crossbody and Wallet. They are from the Loungefly Princess Castle Series. These are my first ever Loungefly crossbody and zip-around wallet.
I have been patiently waiting since November when I preordered these two pieces. I am so in love with them! They are stunning and breathtakingly beautiful.
What is the Loungefly Princess Castle Series?
Before I go into the stunning details of my two new pieces, let me explain a little about the series. Roughly every month, Loungefly releases a new design featuring a Disney Princess with her castle. This series all started back in June 2021 with Cinderella. Additional ones include Jasmine, Ariel, Tiana, Snow White, Belle, Aurora (January Pre Order), and Rapunzel (January Pre Order.)
Pieces in the series always consist of a mini backpack, a wallet of some sort, and a crossbody. Some may even have a card/id holder. The Beauty and the Beast Castle Belle Series has a mini backpack, wallet, crossbody, and id/cardholder.
Details of the Crossbody
As a Beauty and the Beast fan, the details blew me away!
Outside
The crossbody features two colorful stained glass-looking designs. One on each side of the bag. One side with the metal logo plate features the classic stained glass look of Belle in her yellow ball gown dancing with her Prince, Phillip, aka the Beast. Behind them are some other characters in their human form, like Mrs. Potts, Chip, and Lumiere.
The other side is another colorful stained glass look, but this one features the castle. This is my favorite design part of the collection. The castle design shows how it goes from bright and sunny to dark and stormy.
There is an applique patch that is in front of the castle. It gives the bag some depth. The patch is in the stained glass design.
This patch features Belle (in her town outfit) reading in front of the fountain. She Is reading to a couple of sheep. I bet she is reading Chapter 3 to them. That is her favorite part.
The sides and bottom of the crossbody are both solid black. The crossbody is made with vegan leather.
The crossbody comes with two handles and a removable adjustable strap. It’s like you are getting two types of purses in one! The hardware one this crossbody is gold.
Inside
When you look inside the crossbody, you see that it has a snap closure, along with 3 compartments- 1 middle zipper compartment and 2 open ones (1 on each side of the zipper compartment).
The storage options do not end with open compartments. One open compartment features an interior zipper pocket, while the other features one slip pocket. I love the different storage options this crossbody offers.
The liner is just as stunning as the stained glass details featured on the outside of the crossbody. The liner is a bright royal blue color featuring a beautiful rose. The design of the liner is a stained glass window design.
Dimensions
Crossbody roughly measures at 13’’W X 10’’H X 3 ½’’D. It is a recent size bag.
Details of the Wallet
Outside
The wallet features the same 2 designs as the crossbody, along with the applique patch.
The wallet is an all-around zipper closure. The zipper hardware is gold, and the pull says Loungefly. The wallet is also made from vegan leather.
Inside
The wallet features the same beautiful royal liner seen in the crossbody. One side is the clear id slot, and the other features a 4-card slot and one slip pocket perfect for cash.
Dimensions
The wallet measures 6’’W 4’’H. It fits perfectly with the crossbody and my Loungefly bags.
The only complaint I have about the wallet is that there is no place to put my change/coins.
Where Did I Purchase?
I purchased the crossbody and wallet from one of my favorite authorized Loungefly sellers, Sapphire Sky Boutique. The same place I ordered my Hocus Pocus Black Flame Candle Cardholder.
Nov 2023 UPDATE- Sapphire Sky Boutique seemed to be closed when I went on their website. Also according to this website, it looked like they filed for bankruptcy.
