Spooky season is here. One way I like to celebrate is by watching Hocus Pocus. It is one of my favorite Halloween Disney movies. To add my celebration of the spooky season, I want to show off my newest Loungefly, the Hocus Pocus Black Flame Candle Cardholder.

Where did I purchase the Black Flame Candle Cardholder?

I purchased the cardholder back in July from Sapphire Sky Boutique– one of Loungefly ‘s authorized small business sellers. It was part of August Pre Orders.

Nov 2023 UPDATE- Sapphire Sky Boutique seemed to be closed when I went on their website. Also according to this website, it looked like they filed for bankruptcy.

The retail price of the Hocus Pocus Black Flame Candle Cardholder is $20. It is currently not available for purchase at Sapphire Sky Boutique. There is a chance other businesses that sell Loungefly may have it in stock.

Loungefly blew me away again with details of this cardholder. The details of it are wickedly stunning!

Outside Details 

The cardholder measures 2 1/2″ x 6″. It is a really decent-sized cardholder and is made out of simulated leather. 

The front of the cardholder is the replica look of the candle that you see in the film. The designs of the candle are embossed onto the simulated leather.

The black flame of the candle is glitter giving that glistening look. I wonder who lit the candle?

On the back, there are 4 card slots with a Loungefly metal logo plate. The cardholder does come with a zipper pocket, which you do not typically see in cardholders. It is a decent size zipper pocket. Perfect for me to hold my coins and cash.

The only complaint is I wish there was a clear id holder.

Inside Details

The liner inside the zip pocket/card slots has a golden yellow background featuring some iconic symbols from the movie. The liner features the broom, the mop, and the vacuum cleaner that each Sanderson sister ride. You also see the cat, Binx, with wording that says “Black Cat Curse” and sayings from that curse. Also on the liner is the symbol of poison and a black cauldron. 

This cardholder is a perfect way to add a touch of the spooky season to my Disney bags. Who knows! I may buy a Loungefly bag to match this cardholder.
