The Beast Loungefly Mini Backpack- A Summer 2021 FunKon Exclusive
Last weekend I received my newest Loungefly, the Beast Loungefly Mini Backpack. Yes, I did buy another one. I am proud to admit that I have an addiction to Disney Bags, especially Loungefly. This Beast Loungefly Mini Backpack was a Summer 2021 FunKon Exclusive. I am so lucky that I got him since only a few were available to purchase and it sold out quickly.
What is FunKon?
FunKon is Loungefly convection took place on August 4th-August 6th, 2021. They talked and showed off new pieces and FunKon exclusives of Loungefly and Funkos. It was a limited in-person event. They did have a virtual option as well. More detailed information about the event is available here.
Where was the Beast Loungefly Mini Backpack available to purchase?
This exclusive bag was only available for sale at two locations-Loungefly($80) and Pink la Mode ($79.90), an authorized Loungefly shop. It was released for purchase on August 5th, 2021, at 3 pm EST.
Loungefly had other FunKon exclusives released earlier that week, and they sold out in minutes. Some even sold out in seconds! I made sure I was on Pink la Mode’s website before the release time.
To help me get this bag, I had my account created beforehand. So when I add it to my cart, all I had to do was plug in my payment information. I just had enough time to do so. When I went back to check to see if it was still in stock, it was not. It only took me 2 minutes to check out, so it sold out within minutes!

Details of the Beast Loungefly
Measurement
This bag measures about 10.5 inches in height, 7 inches wide, and 4 inches in depth.
Outside
The front of this bag features the Beast’s grumpy look. It has a lot of details. Probably one of the best details I have seen in a Loungefly bag! Sewn-on facial features and clothing pieces are in layers giving the Beast some depth. His eyes and parts of his fur around his eyes are embroidered. This gives a little different texture to the bag. Simulated leather makes up the majority of the mini backpack.
This bag has two side pockets. On one of the side pockets is Loungefly’s metal logo plate. On the back in the corner, there is the Enchanted Rose in its glass closure. It is similar to the one on the back of the Belle Cosplay Loungefly Mini Backpack. However, this one is embossed, while the one on the Belle bag is embroidered.
Like all of my Loungefly Mini Backpacks, this one has padded straps and a top handle.
Inside
The liner of this bag is deep royal blue with outlines of the Enchanted Rose in its glass closure and small stars.
There is a small interior zipper pocket.
This Beast Loungefly is definitely my new favorite! The best details in a bag I have seen. I am so happy that I was able to snag this exclusive. It goes perfectly with my other Beast pieces. This bag truly makes you fall in love with the Beast!
