The current festival that is occurring at Epcot is the Flower and Garden Festival. A celebration of flowers and gardens with breathtaking topiaries of Disney characters and animals, along with some beautiful gardens. You can also find some delicious drinks and food at Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. I want to share the options I had during my time (2023) at the festival.

Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade

This non-alcoholic drink is a staple for the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. I always wanted to try and finally had the chance during my recent trip to Epcot.

This gorgeous violet color lemonade is refreshing, especially on a hot Flordia hot day. It was not as tart as lemonade. It was more floral and had sweet notes. The lemonade is topped with an edible flower. My only complaint is I wish that it was available in a giant cup! I give this a 10 out of 10!

This drink is available at the Pineapple Promenade Food Booth, which is located near the Port of Entry. Below is the booth’s menu with the other food and drinks offerings.

Spicy Mala Chicken Skewer

The Spicy Mala Chicken Skewer from the Lotus House in the China Pavilion came with a savory and creamy peanut sauce. The chicken was moist and juicy. The sauce covered the chicken, which I love. The spicy was mild to my taste. I wish it had a little more spice. It came with what looked like spring onions and sesame seeds that topped the chicken skewer. I will give this a 9 out of 10 because I wanted a little more spicy to the sauce.

House-Made Cheesy Crab Wontons

The Spicy Mala Chicken Skewer was not the only thing I had from the Lotus House. I also ordered the House-Made Cheesy Crab Wontons. Three wontons came in my order. What I would call a sweet chili sauce topped the wontons.

I thought the wontons were pretty basic. The filling was meh. The sauce did add some flavor to the wontons. Needless to say, I had better wontons from other Chinese restaurants. I will give this a 6 out of 10.

Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich- Not a Festival Item

You are probably thinking- you only had 3 three things to eat during your time at Epcot!?!? I typically do not eat a lot when I am at the parks. I did ate something that was not part of the Flower and Garden Festival. That was the Macaron Ice ice cream sandwich from L’Artisan des Glaces, which also has the Croque Glacé.

Two flavors are available to choose from- chocolate and seasonal. I went with the seasonal macaron. The seasonal flavor for that day was raspberry macaron filled with raspberry sorbet and vanilla ice cream. It was refreshing, especially since it was hot the day I went to Epcot. Unlike the Croque Glacé, these were made ahead of time, and you do not get to pick the ice cream filling.

I give it a 10 out of 10! It was flavorful and had the get balance of sweetness. It combines my two loves macarons and ice cream which is a huge plus!

I definitely want to try some more of the food at the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot, but my stomach was so full of these tasty treats I did get to eat. I hope I can go back to try some more of the delicious offerings that are available at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.
