Merchandise Spotlight: Buckle Down Hogwarts Houses Fanny Packs
I am going on a girls’ trip soon to Universal Studios to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios! I am the designated planner. With this honor, I decided to find the perfect Harry Potter-themed park bag for us. I wanted one that allowed us to show off our pride for our Hogwarts House, yet not be too big. Details of the Buckle-Down Hogwarts Houses Fanny Packs
Most of the details I featured in this blog post will be based on the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw since those are the ones I purchased. The Buckle Down Hogwarts Fanny Packs come in 4 styles-one for each Hogwarts House-Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. I will show/link the image of each House fanny pack later in the post. But first, let’s get into the details.
Outside
The print on each of the fanny packs is what I would call a school plaid pattern. The plaid pattern is in the colors of the House it is representing.
One thing that I noticed with the Hufflepuff fanny pack is that it has mini badger silhouettes that are part of the plaid pattern. The other Hogwarts Houses do not have this in their fabric. I think that the Hufflepuff fanny pack is the only one to have this because it is the best house! I am proud Hufflepuff!
Featured in the center of each fanny pack is the House’s shield- which includes the name and mascot of the House.
- Gryffindor- Lion
- Hufflepuff- Badger
- Ravenclaw- Raven
- Slytherin- Snake
The fanny pack has one main compartment. On the back is a small zipper compartment. I call this a hidden pocket! I love the hidden pocket, which is perfect for my card wallet.
The fanny pack is made from canvas material and has a zipper closure. The zipper pulls featured on the fanny pack say, “Buckle-Down.”
The strap is adjustable and features a plastic buckle.
Inside
The inside of the fanny pack is very simple. It features a black liner and no pockets. I can only say this for the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw versions since those are the two I purchased.
Measurements
These fanny packs measure roughly 11.0 x 6.5 x 4.0. It definitely fits my basic needs for a day out in the parks. It also seems like it will fit in the free-timed Universal Studios lockers for the rides that require you not to have your belongings with you on the ride.
