For my last blog of 2022, I am going to do a brief overview of the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary statues. In this overview, I will go over which park and a general location where you can find them. I’m going to be honest. I should have written this one right after my January trip, but it of because I had so many other magical things I wanted to share with you!

In honor of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, Disney released a list of their fab 50 characters and created statues to honor these 50 characters. However, there are only 36 statues throughout the parks. Some of the characters are paired up.

Magic Kingdom

Let’s start with my favorite park and the one that has the most Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom has 19 of the 36 statues. I am going to break them down by areas inside the Magic Kingdom.

Town Square

  • Lady and Tramp

This adorable canine couple is found right in the center of the town square after entering the park. The perfect location since they are nearby the restaurant inspired by their story- Tony’s Town Square Restaurant.

Hub (In Front of the Castle)

  • Mickey Mouse
  • Minnie Mouse
  • Goofy
  • Pluto
  • Donald Duck
  • Daisy Duck
  • Chip and Dale
  • Dumbo and Timothy
  • Jaq and Gus Gus
  • Tinker Bell
  • Winnie the Pooh and Piglet

As you can see, a good bit of the statues are located in front of the majestic Cinderella’s castle. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, and Chip N Dale can be found in the middle section of the hub. They are pretty much easy to find.
Dumbo and Timothy are located on the right side.
Jaq and Gus Gus are also located on the right side but inside the archway/turret near the castle. They were kind of hard to find, along with Tinker Bell. Tinker Bell is located on the left side of the trees. Her statue was so small I almost missed her.
Winnie the Pooh and Piglet is located on the pathway that lends to Adventureland.

Adventureland

  • Abu
  • Orange Bird

These two were the hardest ones to find. Abu, known for being a trickster and a little mischievous in Aladdin, is definitely being mischievous with his location. He is located in the right corner of the Adventureland Entrance sign. I definitely did miss him when I was first looking for him.

The cute Orange Bird Statue is located on the porch on the left side of the restaurant, Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen

Tomorrowland

  • Stitch

Stitch can be found near the famous purple wall.

Near Mad Hater’s Tea Party

  • Cherish Cat
  • Mad Hater

These two Alice in Wonderland characters are located at the little shrubbery/trees and sign for the Mad Hater’s Tea Party Ride.

Entrance of Fantasyland (Behind the Castle)

  •  Pinocchio
  • Cogsworth and Lumiere

These statues are located near the entrance of Fantasyland, which is behind the castle and right past Prince Charming Regal Carrousel.

Hollywood Studios

  • Sebastian and Flounder
  • Woody and Little Bo Peep
  • Joe
  • Frozone
  • Edna “E” Mode
  • BB8
  • R2-D2

All the 50th statues are scattered n front of the Center Stage area, which is front of the Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad Ride area. No real problem finding the statues here. The only ones that might be hard to find are BB8 and R2-D2. They are located in the same shrubbery as Frozone and Edna. They are just on the other side of it.

Epcot

  • Figment
  • Olaf and Bruni
  • Rocket and Groot
  • Miguel
  • Dante
  • Hei Hei and Pua

The figment is located in the middle pathway that leads up to the front of the World showcase.
Just keep walking ahead on the pathway to the middle part right, before deciding which country you should start the World Showcase, are the other statues (Rocket &Groot, Olaf &Buni, Hei Hei & Pua, Miguel, and Dante.) They are located between the shops of Port of Entry and Disney Traders.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

  •  Simba
  • Timon and Pumbaa
  • Bambi and Thumber
  • Dory and Nemo

These statues are located in the area in front of the Tree of Life. Click here to read my blog post on the detailed description of these 50th statues found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

How Long Will These 50th Statues Be Up?

Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration has an end date of March 31st, 2023. I am not sure if the statues will remain after the 50th Anniversary ends. So if you want to see them, do not miss your chance! It was a fun and magical experience finding all the Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Statues.

Update- According to multiple outlets, the 50th Anniversary Statues remain just they remove the 50th markings from them. I hope to see this myself during my planned trip in 2024.
