Merchandise Spotlight: Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Goofy Plush
In May 2022, Disney rolled out some new Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary merchandise. This rollout included the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Goofy Plush.
Details of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Goofy Plush
Goofy is wearing his WDW 50th Anniversary suit. His suit coat is absolutely stunning. I am blown away by the details they put into it. Disney did not “goof” around with this plush!
His suit coat color is a mixture of iridescent blues, purples, and mint greens. There is a bit of metallic color as well. The coat fabric is a jacquard style.
On one side of his coat is an embroidered castle with what looks like fireworks going off. The other side has embroidered flowers and scrolls. They even included an embroidered detail of where pockets should be!
The collar of his suit coat is blue with gold trim. There is gold trimming around the sleeves too.
His vest is gold, and his adorable bow tie is blue and gold. Matching the blue color of his tie and suit color are his blue pants and gold shoes.
On the bottom of one of his shoes is a patch with the 50th castle logo. It reminds me of the logo on the 50th Anniversary Travel Straw I bought back in October 2021.
Size
He stands roughly about 16 1/2 inches. The only complaint I have about this plush is that I find his head is not proportional to the rest of his body. It seems kinda small.

I purchased Goofy on shopDisney. He had a retail price of $29.99 when I bought him. I have not been to Parks since his release, so I personally could not tell you if he is there.

Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, and Chip n Dale were in the first rollout of the WDW 50th Anniversary plushies. I saw them during my trip back in Sept 2021.
Donald Duck and Daisy Duck joined Goofy in the newest 50th merchandise released in May 2022. When writing this blog post, all were available on shopDisney except for Mickey.
Back in Sept 2021, when I saw the first round of 50th merchandise, I was sad that they did not have Goofy as a plush. He is my favorite of the Fab 7 characters in their 50th attire. I told my husband that they should have Goofy.
Fast forward to May 2022, Disney released a 50th Goofy plush. I was ecstatic and did not hesitate to purchase him. They must have heard me in the World of Disney Store.
