Turning Red Mei Disneybound Idea with Pieces Found on Amazon
One of my favorite Pixar films is Turning Red. One of my favorite characters from the film is the main character. Meilin (aka Mei) Lee. In honor of Mei, I wanted to feature a Disneybound Idea on my blog. I created this Turning Red Mei Disneybound Idea with pieces found on Amazon. Unlike some of my Disneybound Ideas, I own all the pieces in this look.
Women’s Long Sleeve Button Down Crew Neck Classic Knit Cardigan Sweater
I think this classic knit cardigan sweater is perfect and closely resembles Mei’s red-orange sweater she wears. I find the cardigan to be lightweight and has some stretch to it which makes it comfortable to wear.

Amazon Essentials Women’s Slim-Fit Tank, Pack of 2
I like to wear a layering tank with my cardgains. I used the white tank in the 2 pack that came with a lemon-yellow tank which I featured in my Orange Bird Disneybound Idea blog post. For this look, I shared the pack of 2 white tanks. I did not want to confuse anyone with the lemon yellow. I like these tanks because they are great for layering. Other packs of 2 color combinations are avaiable if you are looking for some different colors.

Women’s Basic Stretchy Flared Casual Mini Skater Skirt
The design of this skirt with the flares drew me to it. The flares in this skirt make it kinda flirty and cute. The skirt is stretchy which makes it comfortable to wear. I may have to get it some more colors.
The skirt sadly this skirt does not have built-in shorts, but I can easily add a pair of one of my biker shorts or leggings to wear underneath it for when I go to the parks.

Inspired Turning Red Red Panda Headband Mouse Ears
These ears are perfect for this look. I love that they are fluffy/fuzzy/furry which adds to the cutest. The bow features Mei’s nose when she is in her red panda state. To me, these ears are lightweight and comfortable to wear. The headband part of the ears is not tight fitting so it does not pinch my head like some ears tend to do when wearing them for a long time.
